How do I earn income from my affiliation?

As an affiliate you are entitled to claim 25% of the posting fee for all notices posted on World Alive Notices through your website. This does not apply to renewals, uploads or modifications but it does apply to additional notices posted by the same person (and neither are you entitled to any claim in respect of postings made through any other afiliated websites whether or not they have become affiliated through your own website).

First, you should make sure that you have checked the "Notify of New Notices" box on your Affiliation Form to ensure that you will automatically receive an email notification each time someone posts a notice via your website.

Second, if you don't already have one, you should set up a free PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk or www.paypal.com as we can process direct debit style payments securely through PayPal without exchanging any bank or card details. If you use a dedicated email address for your affiliation (see below), this should be included in your PayPal account profile.

Third, at the beginning of each month, email our accounts department with your claim using the text file which you can download here. Once you have completed the form in a text editor, you should copy and paste it into the body (message area) of a normal email. Please do not send the text file as an attachment. Note: we use a special email address as shown in the text file for affiliate claims.

Finally, we will send payment via PayPal to your email address - usually on the last Friday of the month. Please note that, as we are not currently registered for local sales taxes or VAT, you may be required to deduct any such taxes from our remittance depending on your own sales tax or VAT status.

Note: We suggest that you set up a dedicated email address for your affiliation as this will make it easier to keep track of notices that have been posted. You should provide this email address on your Affiliation Form and also use it to send us your claim. WE WILL ONLY MAKE PAYMENTS TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS ON THE AFFILIATION FORM.

None of us will make our fortune from World Alive Notices but it can earn a steady income - especially if you promote it through other pages on your website and/or by marketing it to prospective advertisers and local businesses.
